ORR-019 Ben Nash - Minions by Foot 3" CDR
Over the past few years Ben Nash has had a steady flow of beautiful droning folky psychedelia rolling out on labels like Blackest Rainbow and his own Recollections of Knulp. Here it captures a brief 3 piece movement of percussion, and vocals, guitars and bells. Intertwining and twisting into a foggy yet sparse web of sounds. End of autumn sounds in wallpaper pockets with an insert. Edition of 50.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ORR-017 Ajilvsga - White Sky Monster c32
A rumbling woofer earthquake of deeeeep drones and whirring electronics from Brad Rose (of Digitalis/The North Sea/Every project ever) and his pal Nathan Young (not THAT Nathan Young, promise). Gathering together the awesome adjective/noun combos of fuzzy walls, intense waves, and dense fogs. Like a 3am garbage truck going through a desert in slow-mo. Green tapes in stapled white felt pouches with the Ajilvsga logo hand-painted on the front and an insert. Limited to 50.

ORR-016 Sean McCann - Boomerangutan CDR
Seriously WARRRPED tones. Frog croaks, giant vines, and backwards leopard roars. Similar to the Skaters in that sort of 'recorded-underwater-on-a-broken-tape-deck' way. Twisted nursery-rhymes and jungle fever audio hallucinations. Hot hot hot. Guitar, voice, and feedback melt together into indistinguishable hooks and catchy tribalistic drum bubbles. Sean's most epic yet at 72min. Packed. Oversized cardstock folder collage art with sprayed stamped CDRs in construction paper pockets. Limited to 30

ORR-014 Gorman - Home c30

Recorded in one sitting at night in the basement on a snow day in January, filled with microphone feedback in the most disorientating and hypnotizing way possible. Slow and steady rumbling and guitar drones over a head filled with thoughts of leaving home for good in the fall. An edition of 10.

ORR-013 Vesuvan - Ethereal Hands c10
Far from the rumbling sludge filled wetlands of the Swamp Doctor (that we swear is coming), J Burke finds himself coasting on clouds of comforting fuzz and mellow tones. Smog clouds of twinkling guitars and walls of beautiful smoke mix and twist with occasional percussion and cross over into epicly intense song structures. A gentler side of Vesuvan, though just as powerful as before. Edition of 25..

ORR-012 Nonhorse - Condo Castle c90
Sometimes you're just a little bit of a hermit. Holed up in your fortress. All the clocks are wrong and the sky is gray so you never have any idea what time it is. Evening or morning? Will it get lighter or darker? Does it matter? A thick foggy haze of magnetic tape pours out your eyes and you can't help but get tangled up inside of them. G. Lucas Crane (1/4th of Vanishing Voice & 1/2 of Time Life) has done it again with an absolute EPIC tape hallucination masterpiece. Two and a third panel fold out castle painting by GLC with grey felt castle edged tapes. Limited to 50.

ORR-011 Gorman - The Holy Eightfold Path vol. II: Right Purpose c30

The next chapter. Multi-instrumental drones and scrapes. Live to tape. Double sequin stuck tapes in an edition of 6.

ORR-010 Home on the Range Compilation CDR
Finallyyyyyyyyy! This compilation has been in the works for a long time. People from other labels had told me before how much it sucks waiting forever for everyone to get their tracks in and everything, but man I had no idea. I'd think it was done and ready, and that there'd be a last track in my mailbox when I got home and it'd be another two weeks. That's some difficult waiting. Anyway, housed in fold over 8x10 artwork by Thomas Bernard with silkscreened insides and glue-sticked tracklist is a stamped CDR with new/unreleased tracks from: Slasher Risk, Sky Limousine, Mike Shiflet, Cursillistas, Stone Baby, (VxPxC), Sore Eros, Sean McCann, Farngo, Tusco Terror, Ajilvsga, Fortress of Amplitude, Blue Sabbath Black Fiji, Gorman, and Manuel Giao. Limited to 50 numbered copies. Get it while it's hot.

ORR-009 Gorman - Snow Melt CDR
A bit fuzzier than previous transmissions, these three tracks open up a bit of different space. Whistles and squeals mix with the guitar and vocal drones and at times the entire jamz get thrown down into the fuzz pit. All three tracks are carried by the same tiny tone like strange sisters. Trebel heavy splash and crash, and wordless ghost moans. You know how it is. Edition of 29 stencil sprayed CDRs.

ORR-008 Gorman - The Holy Eightfold Path vol. I: Right Understanding c30
Basement midnight soul-searching. Organic drones wrought from whatever's available. The first in series of 8 c30s from Gorman tracking the various steps and paths down the Eightfold. Limited to 6 with sequin stuck tapes.

ORR-007 Headdress - Turquoise c54
Headdress glide and coast off the wings of a night-owl onto the ribbons of magnetic tape. A cool mellow breeze through the quiet desert air full of acoustic guitars and tambourines. Sometimes there's even keys (plugged into a Cactus I'm sure) all melting together into a sandy quilt of minimal psychedelic songs. Like WWVV in the Texas deserts. Haunting vocals and steady simple rhythms. A re-release of the Turquoise CDR but now with an extra nine minute jam! Due to some absolutely idiotic math on my end the tapes have six minutes of silence at the end of the b-side. Think of it as time to relax and recollect yourself after being softly blown away. In an edition of 50 with 3-panel fold-out art

ORR-006 Cursillistas - Fleece Face c30
Cursillistas is a Portland (the one with lobsters, Big Blood, and a lot of seagulls) psych-folk gem! Matt Lajoie puts songwriting to the side and makes a garden of loops on this release. He uses mbira, banjo, nylon-string guitar, harmonica, wooden flute, drums, a bag of coffee beans and his voice to create something he initially described to me as "Konono no. 1 meets Charalambides". Best description ever. Building and winding in a way I thought near impossible with loops. Drifting in and out of the vines and spinning high on the treetops. In an edition of 50 with silk-flowered cases and hand-painted tapes.

ORR-004 Subway Boxcar 2x3"
Two discs each with one long guitar incantation wrestled from the air on a couple of rainy days in December. The first disc is twenty-minutes of swirling tones and plucks in what seems like movements of a piece rather than an individual song. The second disc is a come-down. A slow-droning sparkling and percussive chant to the sky. Contrasting and complimenting.
Orange sprayed discs in envelope sleeves with newspaper with different newspaper cutout art on each.Hand numbered edition of 12.

ORR-003 Screen House Music - On the Roof c30
Screen House Music is Nick Marino of Northport, NY. With the occasional help of some friends he creates beautiful sprawling warm synth drone and simple finger picked  melodies. There's no way this could've come out of anywhere but the calm suburbs. No clashing metal or alien soundscapes here. Just the sounds of being round a fire with blankets and wood stump seats. The truly shining moment is the brief breakout of his voice into an all out song near the end of the second track. Truly wonderful pine-tree porch jams. Hand numbered edition of 20 gray sprayed tapes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ORR-002 Fossils - Bell Jar c30
Disgusting murky pits of tape manipulations and static hiss melt across the kitchen floor. Screams are buried in feedback and the two become one in the same. Music to stick your head in the oven to. (Wikipedia search: Sylvia Plath). 20 sprayed tapes in sandpaper windows with paper-bag belts and an insert. In a hand-numbered edition of 20.

ORR-001
Tones of Dirt & Bone c40
Deep meditating drone from the closed mind of Mansfield, OH. Conjured up from two guitars, a simple and effective handful of pedals, and cassettes. Beautifully light and airy yet dark and brooding. Building from the light fluttering and trickling of a stream to the powerful and crashing intensity of Niagra only to fall back onto the beautiful chords of the shore. Same music on both sides. Full-color fold-out J-card and labeled tapes. In a hand-numbered edition of 20.
